Senior Software Engineer - Java

Pumex Infotech is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating high-quality, scalable software solutions.

• Qualification: B. Tech or MCA/BCA • Designation: Senior Software Engineer – Java • Experience: 4 - 8 years of software development experience • Notice Period: Immediate joiners to 1 month notice period

Requirements: • Proficiency in Core Java and object-oriented programming principles. • Strong knowledge of frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, etc. • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. • Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL). • Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle. • Experience with version control systems like Git. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes. • Should have worked on any one of the front-end technologies such as AngularJS, ReactJS, etc • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities: • Design, develop, test, and deploy robust Java-based applications and services. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver optimal solutions. • Ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of applications. • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices. • Debug and resolve technical issues across the software lifecycle. • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing. • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Java and related technologies.
