BIM Coordinator

Brief DescriptionKey Responsibilities:

Lead the development and implementation of BIM standards, processes, and protocols across all projects. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and manage 3D models, with a focus on Structural BIM Modeling, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in project design and execution. Provide training and support to team members on BIM tools and software, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Conduct regular quality control checks on BIM models to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to understand project requirements and communicate BIM capabilities effectively. Oversee the integration of BIM with other technologies such as GIS, project management software, and data analytics. Manage project timelines and deliverables related to BIM activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in BIM technology, recommending new tools and practices to enhance productivity. Preferred Skills Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM management or a similar role within the Structural, engineering, or construction industry. Proficiency and expertise in Structural BIM Modeling, along with proficiency in BIM software and other relevant design tools. Strong understanding of building codes, construction processes, and project management methodologies. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Certification in BIM (e.g., BIM Manager Certification) is a plus.
