Software Quality & Process Engineer

Brief DescriptionJob Brief: Dedicated, dependable, and highly trained Software Quality & Process Engineering professional demonstrating broad experience in CMMI, ISO 9001, ISO27001, Management Systems, and well versant with Software Development Lifecycle models. Progressive software quality assurance experience with a passion for surpassing project objectives via combination of adequate process facilitation, high process adherence, business process improvement initiatives, change management and continuous training. Responsibilities

Maintenance and change management of existing quality and information security management system. Define, implement and maintain processes, guidelines and templates as and when required. Support and active participation in ISO certifications (ISO 9001 and ISO 27001) Coordination and support for conducting internal audits of software projects and various support functions. Help internal auditors to identify non-conformities, area of improvements and support for RCA and CAPA for closing audit non-conformities. Act as a process facilitator for projects in defining process tailoring, quality objectives, and help periodic project data collection. Support leads/managers in the implementation of project planning & estimation, engineering processes, project monitoring & control, risk management, configuration management, issues management etc.   Support and active participation in periodic data collection, consolidation and analysis. Support management review by communicating process compliance issues, potential risks, area of improvement, customer complaints etc from projects. Collect process improvement proposals/suggestions from projects and various functions and drive process improvement activities. Deliver process awareness programs and training. Preferred Skills BE/ BS/ BTech in Computer/ Electronics Engineering discipline 3+ years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Engineering Process Management. Strong understanding of various software lifecycle models (Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban) and practicing of the same in multiple software projects as process facilitator. Strong understanding of scrum roles, artifacts and events. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards Familiarity in CMMI practice areas Experience in defining process tailoring with respect to project lifecycle phases and iterations. Strong understanding of software project quality objectives definitions (QPPOs), data collection and analysis methods. Experience in project data collection, consolidation and analysis. Experience in planning and conducting internal audits and support for RCA and CAPA for closing audit non-conformities. Experience in handling process improvement suggestions and quality system changes. Experience in conducting process training. Certification in Software Testing/ Process Management/ Project Management will be considered as a plus.
