Brief DescriptionJob Overview The Claims Manager oversees all aspects of the claims process, from initiation to settlement, ensuring compliance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. This role requires coordination with internal teams, external stakeholders and senior leadership. Acting as the primary liaison between UK and Indian offices, the Claims Manager ensures alignment of regional processes and objectives. Key Responsibilities · Oversee the claims lifecycle, ensuring prompt, accurate, and compliant claim handling. · Resolve escalated or high-value claims and maintain thorough documentation. · Work with Customer Service, Sales and Finance to streamline processes and address challenges. · Act as the main point of contact for senior management on claims performance, providing insights and updates. · Oversee service provider performance to meet standards and KPIs for both B2B and B2C segments. · Manage and develop a team, providing coaching and conducting regular performance evaluations. · Ensure claims activities meet all regulatory and company standards, with regular audits for compliance. · Manage claims expenses, verifying invoices and reports to ensure financial accountability. · Resolve client complaints, supporting Customer Service to enhance client experience. · Analyze claims data to identify improvement areas and report performance to senior management. · Organize essential files, manage engineer bookings and handle correspondence efficiently. · Participate in hiring and training new team members, ensuring adherence to best practices. Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks to improve efficiency and client satisfactionPreferred SkillsQualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration or a related field. Experience: · Minimum 5–7 years of experience in claims management within the insurance industry, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
