IT System Administrator - Only for 3+ years

Brief DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and skilled IT System Administrator to join our dynamic team. As an IT System Administrator at our Offshore Development Center located in Technopark Campus, Thiruvananthapuram, you will be responsible for managing our IT infrastructure, ensuring secure access, and protecting our valuable company assets. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining system performance and implementing best practices for security and data protection.

Assist in the setup and management of the Offshore Development Center’s IT infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure deployment of systems and applications. Implement and manage Active Directory (AD) for user authentication and access control. Create and maintain user accounts, groups, and permissions in accordance with company policies. Develop and enforce security policies to restrict unauthorized access to systems and data. Implement role-based access control (RBAC) to ensure users have appropriate permissions. Establish secure protocols for managing and storing source code and sensitive company files. Implement version control systems and secure access to code repositories. Monitor system performance, availability, and security, ensuring optimal operation. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner. Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures to safeguard data integrity. Conduct regular testing of data recovery processes. Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and security measures. Generate regular reports on system performance and security compliance. Provide technical support and guidance to team members on system-related issues. Conduct training sessions on security best practices and system usage. Preferred Skills 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator, with a focus on Active Directory and security practices. Strong understanding of network security principles and system administration best practices. Experience with source code management tools (e.g., Git, Bitbucket) and data protection techniques. Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
