Role Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Assistant to support our finance department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general accounting practices, proficiency in ERP or cloud-based accounting software, and excellent communication skills in English.
Key Responsibilities:
General Accounting: Manage daily accounting tasks, including accounts receivable and payable, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
Financial Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports, including income and expense forecasts, to assist in strategic decision-making.
Tax Compliance: Handle VAT/GST and corporate tax filings, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
Payroll Management: Calculate and process payroll, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in employee compensation.
Client and Supplier Relations: Engage directly with clients and suppliers via email and phone to manage accounts, resolve discrepancies, and maintain positive relationships.
Proposal and Invoice Preparation: Create proposals, quotations, and invoices, ensuring all financial documents are accurate and professionally presented.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the finance team and other departments to support company objectives and financial health.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably within the B2B service sector.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP or cloud-based accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in financial data entry and reporting.
Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and make decisions that benefit the company.
