Job Description:

As an Accountant Intern, you will work alongside our finance team to assist in managing financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial data. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to learn about accounting practices and gain hands-on experience in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. Assist in reconciling bank statements and financial accounts. Help prepare financial statements, such as income statements and balance sheets. Generate financial reports for management. Collaborate in budgeting and forecasting processes. Monitor budget performance against actual figures. Learn about tax regulations and filing obligations. Assist in payroll procedures to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation. Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and cost reduction opportunities.

Requirements:

Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. Familiarity with accounting software (Tally ERP) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Educational Background:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Candidates with experience in a CA firm are strongly preferred.
