Senior Analyst (Linux)

Job Description

Manage, configure, and maintain Linux servers (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) in on-premise and cloud environments. Handle routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, kernel patches, and security enhancements Authentication integration with IAM, MFA , organizational policies, and DLP Policies Perform system monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure availability, performance, and security. Linux networking, Appliances management like SMTP, DHCP, etc Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and fine-tune system settings for optimal performance  Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness, implementing solutions like clustering and replication Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Bash, Python, Perl, or Ansible to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency. Work on configuration management systems like Puppet, Chef, or Ansible for consistent server setups. Implement and manage security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scans.  Conduct security hardening of Linux servers and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR). Assist the team in Internal Quality Audits of the management systems Manage storage systems (NAS, SAN) and configure logical volumes and file systems (LVM). Implement backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to protect critical data. Configure and manage network settings, including IP addresses, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and ensure proper communication between systems. Deploy and manage virtualized environments using tools such as VMware, KVM, or Xen. Integrate and manage Linux systems in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and work with cloud orchestration tools.       Work closely with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, integrating Linux systems with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Docker. Support containerized environments and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and OpenShift. Perform capacity planning to ensure that Linux environments scale with organizational growth and usage
