This extensive experience has enabled Tecnostac to provide innovative solutions to Savings and Credit Cooperative Organizations (SACCOs) and financial institutions in Africa, helping them gain traction and expand their customer base. Tecnostac Systems offers comprehensive banking solutions for the cooperative sector, including the development of Co-Bank+®, a specialized core banking solution for SACCOs and Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) in Africa.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Specialist with a strong background in .NET and Java technologies to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in the financial product development environment, particularly in Core Banking Application development and support. This role requires a deep understanding of core banking solutions delivery and change management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the development, implementation, and support of core banking solutions using .NET and Java technologies.
2. Manage and oversee technical aspects of financial product development, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
3. Provide expert guidance and support for the technical team, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of core banking applications.
5. Drive change management initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of banking solutions.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to core banking applications.
7. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our solutions.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical roles within the financial product development environment.
2. Proven work experience with .NET and Java technologies.
3. Extensive experience in Core Banking Application development and support.
4. Strong understanding of core banking solutions delivery and change management.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with Cooperative Banks, Savings And Credits Cooperative Organizations (SACCO) and Microfinance Institutions (MFI)
2. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards in the financial sector.
3. Experience in the African region is highly advantageous.
