We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Android Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Android Developer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of Android applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend developers to define application features and requirements.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code, following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Optimise the app for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure high standards of code quality and security.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues and bugs.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in Android development.
• Collaborate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and task management.

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Android development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Experience with Android SDK, RESTful APIs, and third-party libraries and frameworks.
• Knowledge of MVC, MVVM, MVP, or other Android architecture patterns.
• Experience working with version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with performance tuning, memory management, and profiling tools for Android.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
