We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Scientific Officer Grade 1 to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in epidemiological, and/or economic data analysis or public health research implementation, with demonstrated skills in R programming, data analysis, research methodology, and medical writing. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects in the health tech space. Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Management:

Conduct epidemiological and/or economic data analysis using R programming and other statistical software (STATA, Python). Manage, clean, and analyze large datasets from real-world sources, including health registries, surveys, and clinical databases. Perform complex statistical & economic modelling (HEOR studies) and interpret results to support health technology assessments (HTA dossiers) and evidence synthesis projects.

Research Methodology:

Design and implement robust research methodologies for public health studies, including observational studies, cohort studies, and case-control studies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop research protocols, study designs, and analytical plans.

Medical Writing:

Prepare high-quality scientific reports, manuscripts, and presentations based on research findings. Contribute to the development of health technology assessment (HTA) documents, including systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and economic evaluations. Ensure all written outputs are clear, accurate, and adhere to relevant guidelines and standards.

Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including epidemiologists, biostatisticians, and health economists, to deliver integrated solutions. Communicate complex statistical concepts and research findings to non-technical stakeholders, including clients and policymakers.

Continuous Learning & Development:

Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in epidemiology, public health research, and statistical methodologies.

Participate in training sessions, workshops, and conferences to enhance skills and knowledge.

Preferred SkillsPreferred Skills

Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Public Health (MPH), Health Economics, Biostatistics, or a related field. MD or PhD in above fields is preferred. Minimum of 2 years of full-time work experience in epidemiological data analysis, economic evaluations, or public health research. Proficiency in R programming and experience with other statistical software (e.g., Stata, Python) is an advantage. Strong understanding of research methodology (e.g., clinical trials, observations study designs), and statistical analysis. Excellent medical writing skills with a proven track record of producing high-quality scientific publications. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, leading teams, managing multiple projects and deadlines. Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in health technology assessments or evidence synthesis. Knowledge of real-world data sources and their application in health research. Familiarity with systematic review software (e.g., RevMan, Covidence).
