Junior System Administrator

Position Overview: We are looking for a System Administrator with at least 1 year of experience in OS management, networking, and cloud solutions. The role involves managing Active Directory, Office 365, and assisting with network infrastructure. Familiarity with firewall management and cybersecurity practices is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory, Group Policies (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022), and Azure AD.

Administer Microsoft Exchange Server and Office 365 environments.

Maintain computer networks, including hardware, software, and configuration.

Monitor systems and perform regular backups and disaster recovery operations.

Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems.

Configure and maintain security solutions, including antivirus and firewalls.

Assist in procuring, configuring, and deploying IT infrastructure systems.

Perform technical research and analysis on various projects and their feasibility.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proficiency in deploying secure OS images for workstations (Windows & Linux distributions).

Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash) for automating system tasks.

Experience with Active Directory (on-premises or Azure AD) and Exchange server.

Knowledge of Office 365 administration.

Familiarity with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) installation and support.

Basic understanding of network administration (LAN, WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP).

Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Firewall configuration knowledge is a plus.

Familiarity with Microsoft Intune or other device management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Relevant certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, or Azure Administrator Associate are beneficial.

1 year of experience in system administration and network support.

Good to Have:

Experience with firewall management and network security.

Familiarity with additional cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud).

Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
