Brief DescriptionStackmod Innovations is seeking an experienced Shopify Developer with 2+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and customizing Shopify stores, implementing third-party integrations, and optimizing eCommerce performance. You will work closely with our design and marketing teams to create seamless and responsive online shopping experiences. Key Responsibilities:

Shopify Development:

Build and customize Shopify stores from the ground up, based on project requirements. Develop custom Shopify themes and modify pre-existing themes according to design specifications.

Theme Customization:

Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create a tailored and visually appealing user experience. Ensure themes are responsive and optimized for mobile and desktop platforms.

App Integration:

Integrate and configure third-party Shopify apps to extend store functionality (e.g., payment gateways, shipping, SEO, analytics). Develop custom Shopify apps as per business needs, using Shopify's APIs.

Performance Optimization:

Optimize store performance, including site speed, SEO, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies. Ensure stores meet Shopify’s security standards and best practices.

API Integration:

Work with Shopify’s REST and GraphQL APIs to connect third-party services and tools. Implement custom functionalities, features, and workflows to meet business requirements.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

Perform ongoing maintenance, updates, and enhancements to ensure the store is running smoothly. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Shopify platform.

Key Qualifications:

Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Shopify Developer, with a proven track record of building and maintaining eCommerce stores. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Technical Expertise:

Strong proficiency in Shopify’s Liquid templating language, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Experience with Shopify Plus, including customizations and advanced features. Familiarity with Shopify’s theme development and customization practices.

Preferred Skills:

API Development: Hands-on experience working with Shopify's REST and GraphQL APIs. App Development: Experience in developing custom Shopify apps using Shopify’s App Bridge or Polaris. Version Control: Proficiency with Git for version control and collaborative development. Performance Optimization: Expertise in site speed optimization, image compression, and SEO best practices for eCommerce. Payment & Shipping: Knowledge of integrating and configuring various payment gateways, shipping solutions, and tax settings within Shopify. Experience with eCommerce Tools: Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other eCommerce analytics platforms. Responsive Design: Ability to create responsive, mobile-first designs and ensure compatibility across all devices. Testing & Debugging: Experience with cross-browser testing tools and debugging techniques.

API Expertise: Proficiency with Shopify’s REST and GraphQL APIs for integrating third-party applications and custom functionalities.

Theme Customization: Strong skills in customizing themes to match specific design and functional requirements using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

JavaScript Frameworks: Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js or React to enhance the interactivity of Shopify stores.

Payment Gateway Integration: Experience integrating various payment gateways (e.g., PayPal, Stripe) and ensuring secure transaction processes.

SEO & Performance Optimization: Deep understanding of SEO best practices, site speed optimization, and image compression to improve store performance and rankings.

Responsive Design: Expertise in developing responsive, mobile-first designs for an optimal shopping experience on any device.

Version Control (Git): Proficiency in Git and experience using version control systems in collaborative development environments.

UI/UX Knowledge: A solid grasp of UI/UX principles to create visually appealing, intuitive, and user-friendly eCommerce interfaces.

Cross-Browser Testing & Debugging: Experience with cross-browser testing tools (e.g., BrowserStack) and debugging to ensure consistent performance across all platforms.

Experience with Shopify Plus: Understanding of Shopify Plus features, such as advanced customization, multi-currency support, and automation tools like Shopify Flow.

Experience with Analytics Tools: Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other eCommerce analytics platforms for tracking performance and user behavior.

Agile Methodologies: Experience working within Agile or Scrum development environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects efficiently.
