Senior DevOps Engineer (6-8 years)

Brief DescriptionWe are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and managing scalable infrastructure, deploying and maintaining microservices, ensuring smooth CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role involves working with cloud platforms (AWS and GCP), developing APIs, and automating processes using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and more. If you have a strong background in DevOps and cloud environments, this is an excellent opportunity to work on a cutting-edge SaaS application.   Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.

Design and implement server architecture with help of customer and technical team. 

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.

Manage microservices architecture and API gateways for scalable systems.

Implement secure remote development environments, including VPN setups and cloud security best practices.

Use infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible and Terraform for automating environment provisioning.

Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.

Deploy and maintain relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.

Work with RabbitMQ for messaging and gRPC for service communication.

Support microservices built on Python FastAPI and ensure high availability.

Implement and maintain VPN solutions for remote teams.

Collaborate with development teams to ensure proper integration of DevOps practices and tools.

Troubleshoot, optimize and maintain infrastructure across different environments.

Ensure compliance with best practices in security, scalability, and high availability.

Participate in the continuous improvement of deployment practices and infrastructure management.

 Preferred Skills

Cloud Platforms: AWS, GCP (Google Cloud Platform)

Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Terraform, Ansible

CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar.

Programming: Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) 

Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB

Messaging & APIs: RabbitMQ, gRPC, API Gateway

Microservices & Containers: Docker, Kubernetes, microservices architecture

Networking: VPN setup and management, cloud networking, security best practices

Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar

Version Control: Git, GitHub, or GitLab

Agile Development: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira.

  Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and automation.

Proven experience with AWS and GCP.

Strong expertise in deploying and maintaining microservices-based systems.

Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.

Strong understanding of database management (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ) and communication protocols like gRPC.

Solid knowledge of VPN and cloud security.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
