Job Description:

Your role is crucial for our startup's growth. You'll identify clients, build relationships, close deals, and drive strategic growth in our fast-paced environment, requiring creativity and adaptability.

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Identifying New Business Opportunities: • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, partners, and markets for the startup’s software solutions. • Explore new verticals, regions, or industries where the product can solve problems and add value. • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction. • Understand client needs and present appropriate IT solutions to meet their requirements.

  2. Client Outreach & Lead Generation: • Use various methods (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, etc.) to reach out to prospects and generate leads. • Attend industry events, conferences, and webinars to network and identify new business opportunities. • Develop a lead generation strategy, including inbound (through marketing) and outbound efforts.

  3. Pitching & Presentations: • Create and deliver compelling presentations and product demos that demonstrate the value of the software. • Tailor pitches to specific client needs, showing how the software can solve their pain points. • Communicate the unique value proposition of the startup’s software to differentiate it from competitors.

  4. Sales Strategy Development: • Work closely with the founders and senior management to develop and refine the startup’s sales and business development strategies. • Help define pricing models, sales tactics, and go-to-market strategies that align with business goals. • Identify opportunities to refine the product based on customer feedback and industry trends. • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including sales calls, presentations, and closed deals.

  5. Building and Managing Relationships: • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients and strategic partners. • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling. • Foster partnerships that can expand the startup's reach (e.g., with resellers, tech partners, etc.).

  6. Negotiation and Deal Closing: • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to close deals that are favorable for both the client and the startup. • Handle objections and pushback during the sales process with creative problem-solving and value-driven responses.

  7. Collaboration with development and Marketing Teams: • Work closely with the development team to ensure the software’s features and benefits align with market needs and customer feedback. • Coordinate with marketing to align campaigns and generate leads through content marketing, social media, and other efforts.

Required Skills & Knowledges

• Minimum of 1 years of experience in IT business development. • Proven track record of high value client acquisitions, IT sales with a successful track record • Strong communication skill & Presentation skill • Deep understanding of the technology industry, technology trends, and emerging technologies. • Excellent Time management and planning skills. • Ability to work independently with strong lead generation skills.
