Python Developer (US Healthcare) We are seeking a talented and motivated Python Developer with hands-on experience in Django and exposure to US healthcare systems or healthcare data workflows. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing scalable backend systems and APIs while ensuring compliance with healthcare data standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Web Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain secure, high-performance web applications using Django. • API Development: Build and integrate RESTful APIs and ensure smooth data exchange between systems. • Healthcare Systems Integration: Work with healthcare-related data formats (HL7, 835, EDI, etc.) and ensure data privacy and HIPAA compliance. • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following industry best practices and internal standards. • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Frontend, QA, DevOps, Product) to deliver reliable and scalable features. • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with emerging tools and technologies to enhance development efficiency and application performance.
Required Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Python development with strong Django framework knowledge. • Backend Expertise: Solid understanding of server-side logic, ORM, and asynchronous programming concepts. • API Development: Strong experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs. • Version Control: Proficiency in Git and collaborative workflows. • Healthcare Experience: Prior experience in the US healthcare domain — working with EHR/EMR systems, HIPAA compliance, or healthcare data formats (HL7, FHIR, EDI) is mandatory.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Celery, Redis, or asynchronous task queues. • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello.
