Brief DescriptionJob Summary We are looking for an Application Maintenance Support Engineer with 2+ years of experience to support, maintain, and enhance existing applications. The role involves incident management, bug fixing, performance monitoring, and coordination with development and business teams to ensure smooth application operations. Roles & Responsibilities

Provide L2/L3 application support for production and staging environments

Monitor application health, performance, and availability

Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues and incidents within defined SLAs

Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes

Handle bug fixing, minor enhancements, and configuration changes

Support application deployments, patches, and version upgrades

Coordinate with development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams

Maintain application documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base

Support database-related activities such as data validation and basic queries

Participate in on-call/shift support as required

Ensure compliance with security, audit, and operational standards

Preferred SkillsTechnical Skills

Experience in application support or maintenance roles

Working knowledge of one or more programming languages (Java / .NET / Python / Node.js, etc.)

Hands-on experience with SQL and basic database troubleshooting

Familiarity with ticketing tools (Jira, ServiceNow, Freshdesk, etc.)

Experience with log analysis and monitoring tools

Basic understanding of Linux/Unix commands

Knowledge of SDLC, ITIL processes, and incident/change management

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

2+ years of experience in Application Maintenance / Production Support

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have

Experience in cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP)

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools

Experience in domain-specific applications (Banking, Healthcare, E-commerce, etc.)

ITIL certification
