Qualification - BTech/BE/Masters is mandatory

Key Responsibilities Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) for containerized microservices across shore and vessel environments. Architect and manage cloud-agnostic deployments across AWS, Azure, and on-premise (vessel) environments using Kubernetes and Docker. Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform & Ansible. Set up automated health checks, monitoring, and logging systems for real-time operational visibility (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.). Support and manage PostgreSQL Write-Ahead Logging (WAL) replication and data sync agents between offline (vessel) and online (shore/cloud) systems. Ensure high availability through multi-zone or hot standby configurations in the cloud. Handle RBAC, PBAC, OAuth2/OIDC, and Zero Trust implementation via API Gateway, WAF, and Identity Server. Coordinate with backend/frontend engineers and QA teams for release planning and post-deployment support.

Must-Have Skills Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized microservices Hands-on with Terraform, Helm, Ansible and IaC frameworks. Deep understanding of GitOps, release pipelines, and feature toggling. Experience working with PostgreSQL including WAL and logical replication. Familiarity with network protocols, CDN, firewalls, and reverse proxies. Cloud-native architecture experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid deployments. Strong scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and automation skills.

Good-to-Have Experience with IoT edge computing (MODBUS, MQTT, NMEA protocols) onboard vessels. Exposure to zero-downtime deployments, blue/green, or canary releases. Understanding of maritime compliance standards: IMO, SOLAS, GDPR, etc.

Soft Skills Strong leadership and mentoring abilities. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Decision-maker under pressure, especially during outages or sync failures. Collaborative mindset with cross-functional teams.
