Role Description:
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases using Selenium, Java, and POM frameworks.
Build and maintain automation frameworks and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub).
Conduct functional, regression, integration, and API testing using tools like Postman and SwaggerUI.
Validate backend data with SQL queries and perform data-driven testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to ensure high-quality software releases.
Identify, document, and track defects; provide detailed QA reports and test coverage metrics.
Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to continuous process and framework improvements
Preferred SkillsPreferred Skills:
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline)
Experience: 3+ years of experience in both Manual and Automation Testing, with proven experience as a Senior QA Engineer
Automation Tools: Selenium, TestNG, JUnit
Programming: Java (strong hands-on experience)
Frameworks: Page Object Model (POM), Data-Driven Testing
CI/CD & Version Control: Jenkins, GitHub, Git
API Testing: Postman, SwaggerUI, RESTful API validation
Databases: SQL (complex queries, joins, data validation)
Test Management: Jira, TestRail (or equivalent)
Agile Methodologies: Scrum, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives
Other Skills: JSON handling, defect lifecycle management, communication, teamwork, and multitasking under deadline
