Project Manager/ Product Owner Job Title: Product Owner / Project Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Owner / Project Manager to join our team. This dual-role position requires a deep understanding of user needs, the ability to master various domains, and the skills to translate those needs into actionable requirements for our development team. The ideal candidate will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Ownership: - Engage with stakeholders to understand and document business needs and user requirements.

    • Analyze and suggest improvements/enhancement for a live production application - Develop and maintain a clear product vision and roadmap. - Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog. - Translate business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria. - Ensure the development team understands the product vision and requirements. - Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related questions and issues.
  2. Project Management: - Plan, manage, and track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones. - Coordinate and facilitate regular project meetings, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. - Identify and mitigate project risks and issues. - Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. - Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders regularly.

  3. Quality Assurance: - Define user acceptance criteria and validate QA test cases for completeness and quality. - Collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and quality assurance processes. - Review and approve test plans and test cases. - Ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality before release.

  4. Team Collaboration: - Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment within the team. - Provide clear guidance and support to team members. - Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.

Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Product Owner, Project Manager, or similar role in a software development environment. - Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework. - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to think from an end-user perspective and translate needs into actionable requirements. - Strong organizational and multitasking skills. - Proactive and solution-oriented mindset. - Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).

Preferred Skills: - Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar certification. - Experience in a small or startup environment. - Technical background or understanding of software development processes.
